Happy Thanksgiving Weekend!

From all of us at the Coquitlam Farmers Market, we wish you the very best of holidays, no matter which day you celebrate this weekend.  Thank you for supporting the market each week, and coming out to support our local producers and artisans.

This Sunday at the market we have an exciting Thanksgiving side dish demo from two of our local vendors, Karen Curtis from KICS Lemonade and Dyana Biagi from Aji Gourmet Products.  See the how-to of their Thanksgiving sides, pick up a recipe card, and taste!  If you are in need of a new idea this weekend, or overall during the upcoming holiday season, be sure to stop by the market this Sunday!

Hunger Management and Hibiscus Foods will also be at the market, so ensure to come hungry while you shop for your last minute Thanksgiving dinner needs.

Upcoming events at the market this month:

Harvest Festival, October 15th, 10 am

Celebrate the best of the season at our Annual Harvest Festival! Visit the market to enjoy a meal for purchase prepared by the students of the culinary program at Centennial Secondary School. Coastal Sound Music Academy will be providing beautiful choral music, too! Join us for this great morning at the market!

Halloween Spooktacular, October 29th, 9 am

Join us for some spooky fun at our Halloween Spooktacular! Come to market in your costume for some Halloween games, crafts, and treats! Kids can trick-or-treat our vendors and participate in a costume parade at noon!

Port Moody Winter Market Grand Opening, November 5th, 10 am

November 5th we move over to Port Moody in the Recreation Center Complex, 300 Ioco Road!  The market will be at this location until the end of April, and will still have all of our same favorite vendors and artisans for your weekly Sunday shopping.  We will have a special annoucement very soon to kick off this market on November 5th!

See you at the market!
