The market is a registered not for profit society that organizes about 36 farmers’ markets between mid April and Christmas. Roughly 40,000 shoppers visit the market each year.

Our markets support local farmers, food producers, artisans and crafters, backyard gardeners and community groups. Like other farmers’ markets, the Abbotsford Market stimulates and supports the local economy, educates to support and strongly encourages retention of agricultural land. It furthers environmental sustainability by drastically reducing the miles that food travels from field to plate. Your Friend-of-the-Market annual membership of $10 includes monthly member specials and a reusable market bag with a lifetime guarantee.

Members play an increased role in helping the Abbotsford Market provide direct access to the people who grow and produce your food. And memberships support the Market as a public meeting place where family and friends gather and where new friendships are formed.
