We are looking forward to a sunny long weekend.  Start it off right by shopping for fresh new greens at our farmers' booths.  Several farmers have started vegetables for you in little pots, just ready to be planted. 

Flowers from Warmardan Farms, Never Say Die and  FloraGro Nurseries will brighten your dinner table.  Check out Anderston Distilleries, new to our Market, and enjoy a range of tastings from Silvery Valley Brewing. 

New vendors to visit are Designer Cookies by Deborah, jewellery from Kimi Designs, the Pillow Hut has a wide range of pillows for outdoor and indoor use, and St Florian Soap Co has some interesting soaps and body lotions.  The Sausage Lady is here with Mennonite Sausage and she plans to come every week!

Our Celebrity Chef in the Bandstand is Chef Jenner of Humble Roots Cafe and Deli, a new cafe on 224th at 132nd.  He has some quick and easy spring time dishes to prepare for you to enjoy.  Class begins at 11:00 am.

From Soil to Salad #2 begins at 10:00 am with lots of fresh ideas for gardening with your children, young and old!  Leanne Koehn is the presenter, a person well versed in gardening with kids.  Even if you don't have kids, you will get lots of ideas.  A free plant for each child who attends.  If you missed last week's class there is still room to sign up for #2 and future classes.

And, not to be outdone, the children attending the Kids Korner play area, are going to pot some seeds ready to grow in their own garden at home.
