This week at the market, From Soil to Salad is back and will be joined by What's Cooking to show you how to preserve your herbs before they flower.  Sandra will teach you all about picking, processing and hanging them to dry for the winter.  Learn how to make your own mayonnaise using locally sourced household ingredients: you can produce small batches at home, reducing waste and saving you time and money.  There will be recipes, discussion and tastings!   

The Goup of Nine will be in the Bandstand displaying all their Fine Art. 

We are having a booksale, by donation.  Any excess books you'd like to donate?  We'd love to have them! 

So many fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers in the market these days, the season is in full swing! 

Bring your kids to the Kids Korner where they can taste fresh herbs, and make paper plate frisbees.                                                                      Save the Date:  July 21 is our annual Zucchini Race.

Back by popular demand is Bruce Coughlan who will entertain us at the Cafe Corner! 

We have a few new vendors at the market:  Canadian Freshwater Alliance is coming, offering information and education, to ensure  ALL our home waters are healthy, thriving and living waters.  Give your Dog a Bone offers reversable bandanas for your fur babies. Treats for Fido is also at the market this week, making all natural, preservative free, super healthy dog and cat treats.  Come on by and spoil your babies!  Take note that we will have a Pet Blessing at 10:30 am before the Doggy Day Pet Fest parade on July 28.

Its going to be a hot one this week:  cold, fresh water is available for free at the information booth, and we have lemonade for sale at the General Store. Stay hydrated!
