It’s December, so it’s officially Christmas time! Let the festivities begin! The Adventure Centre will have decked its halls with beautiful Christmas trees, each donated to the Chamber of Commerce by a local business. Being surrounded by the festive decorations and our festive spirit is sure to get you in the holiday mood.
Our local farmers’ have been working hard to keep you stocked with fresh produce! You can come grab your week’s worth of fresh organic vegetables and artisans’ pantry items AND knock off a few names on your Christmas list all in one go. Don’t go hungry while you shop! The Tasty Pasty Company will be thereto fill your tummy with craveable Cornish pasties and is now offering non-vegan options.
Our Community Christmas Care donations box will be out for this and next market. How can you help? Your gifts of financial assistance, toys and non-perishable food items add significantly to our efforts. We thank you from the bottom of your hearts for your donations.
Just a reminder to any first-time shoppers that we have moved to a new winter location, The Squamish Adventure Centre on Loggers Lane, just off Highway 99. You can find us there EVERY Saturday from 10-2. We are looking forward to many cozy winters here, so spread the word! This weekend’s produce will be brought to you by organic farmers at Plenty Wild Farm and Laughing Crow Organics. Stony Mountain Farm will of course be bringing eggs, pork shares and sausages alongside pantry favourites from Goldstrike Honey, Moe’s Pantry and Alice Savage. Frostbites is back this week with their coveted small batch, handcrafted fruit and botanical cordials, syrups and tonics. We also have a new vendor face joining us with more golden delicious honey from Good Time Bee Farm!
Inside the building you can find unique gifts ranging from one-of-a-kind photography, wood carvings, drawings and paintings, to jewelry, clothing, delicious adult beverages and even hand-crafted knives and sheathes!
Looking for gifts but can’t decide what to get? We offer gift certificates that can be used at any vendor! See our market manager at our information kiosk near the coffee shop for purchase.
All the usual amenities of the Squamish Adventure Centre will still be in full swing so you can still grab a delicious coffee from Café Garibaldi and grab a little something from the gift shop on your way out.
