Squamish Winter Farmers' Market - December 16th, 2017
Hello Squamish Farmers’ Market Subscribers,
Welcome to the FINAL market of 2017! It’s been a wonderful season and we couldn’t have done it without you – so a big THANK YOU from all of us at the Squamish Farmers’ Market for your love and support this year. After this Saturday’s festivities, our vendors will be taking a well-deserved break from January through to the end of March. We look forward to seeing you in April when our summer market starts up again in our usual location on Cleveland Ave at Victoria St.
We’ve got a great vendor line-up for you to close out the year PLUS a special entertainment treat! Our farmers worked their rear-ends off to bring you farm-fresh produce right to the very last market, how amazing is that?! We have fresh baked breads, all the best pantry favourites and every kind of artisan craft you can imagine!
Our awesome organic vegetables this week will be provided by none other than Plenty Wild Farms and Laughing Crow Organics. You will find the freshest meats from Spray Creek Ranch and the fabulous Stony Mountain Farm will have happy-hen eggs and pork shares there too!
Don’t forget to treat yourself for all your hard holiday work! We’ll have essential oils by From Nature to Nurture to help bring that zen feeling home and a plethora of body care essentials for all your pampering needs.
The treats don’t stop there! Sweet Thea Cakes will be there to satisfy your sweet tooth along with Maples Sugar Shack and Goldstrike Honey and don’t forget to try the secret cinnamon buns from Moe’s Pantry – they are to die for!
You won’t be at a loss for Christmas gifts either! Our vendors this week will be offering eye-catching wooden bowls and home decoratives that range from paracord survival gear and creative shelving to the most unbelievable wood carvings, photos and paintings. Don’t forget to check out the amazing Olga’s pottery for functional and decorative pieces that will make anyone’s Christmas!
To help us celebrate the year, we’ve brought in the very talented and extremely entertaining BrainChild. If you’ve never seen these guys perform, they alone are worth a visit to the Farmers’ Market. They’ll be there, rocking the holidays in from 11-2!
Looking for gifts but can’t decide what to get? We offer gift certificates that can be used at any vendor! See our market manager at our information kiosk near the coffee shop for purchase.
All the usual amenities of the Squamish Adventure Centre will still be in full swing so you can still grab a delicious coffee from Café Garibaldi and grab a little something from the gift shop on your way out.
Wishing you all a happy holiday season!
See you there!
Lots of love,
The Squamish Farmers’ Market Association
