June 30th at the Squamish Farmers' Market
Good Evening Market Subscribers,
The week is coming to a close, and that means the weekend can soon be commenced with a trip to the Squamish Farmers Market! We have lots of fun stuff planned for you this Saturday: First off, it'll be a busy market, with 50 vendors! From 11-12pm is a demonstration by Odd Spirits Society. We'll be hosting a fun Canada Day themed kids craft (adults welcome too!) from 11:30am-12:30pm, and for those who are 19+, we have started up a community-wide 50/50 draw, a fundrasier to continue running great actvities at the market. The week's winner will be drawn at 2pm each Saturday! Finally, a fantastic band from Squamish, Carolyn Grass and Friends, will be performing an upbeat show for everyone from 12-3pm, our big finale of a great day! It's all going to be so much fun!
For lunch, you may have a tough decision choosing between Amo La Vita Food Truck, Mountain Squeeze, Flaca's Tacos, or Carte Diem! For dessert, chill out with natural fruit ice cream made right before you at the Alice and Brohm boler trailer! We also have several great artisans this Saturday: Check out paintings by Andy Anissimoff, exquiste fine wood carvings and drawings at The Art of Rogic. Photographers Tim Cyr and Nick Sopczak, will also be there, and so will local jewelers such as Earth Craft Handmade, Birch Street Studio, and HeadPins Jewelry!
There's a chance that we might not be as lucky with the weather as we've been in previous weeks, as the forecast predicts a little rain and 17 degrees, but of course, a little wetness is not enough to stop the mighty people of Squamish from getting out and enjoying all the market has to offer!
We can't wait to see you all for another fabulous day at the Squamish Farmers Market, from 10am-3pm!
