Squamish Summer Farmers' Market - September 16th, 2017
Hello Squamish Farmers' Market Subscribers!
Feeling back to the daily grind now that the kids are back in school? Come back to summer at the Farmers' Market! Taste the fruits of the community's summer labours with our local fuits, vegetables and handmade foods then treat yourself to one of our artisans' creations. This week, we have a truly unique artisan team joining us: The Boreal Folk Apothecary. Boreal's Raphaelle and Mark will be offering body-care products created from sustainably harvested plants in their solar-powered wilderness lab, pulled by a 50 year old bus!
After you've tantalized your taste buds, purchase a cloth bag or two from our info booth and browse this week's crops to the tune of Whistler's Susan Holden. She'll be with us for your listening pleasure from 11-2. Remember that the fun doesn't end once you're finished at the market! Hop on over next door to Junction Park and O'Siyam Pavilion with the family to support the Scotiabank & BC SPCA Sea to Sky Branch Paws for a Cause Walk. This is a great opportunity to help raise funds for our furry friends. The event will feature games, prizes, BBQ, auctions, kids activities and of course, the walk. The Squamish Art Walk is also still in full swing so take a stroll up Cleveland on your way home and check out some of Squamish's amazing art!
The summer may be coming to a close, but the Farmers' Market is not! While the summer market is here to stay until the end of October, the winter market will be picking up in our new location at the Squamish Adventure Centre in November! Interested in becoming one of our vendors? Our application is now live! Click here to apply.
Can't wait to see you out there!
Lots of love,
The Squamish Farmers' Market Association
