From Soil to Salad is back with their first workshop. "Fast Food from the Garden" presented by Lorea McCready of Farm 52. Workshop begins at 10.
We have Celebrity Chef this weekend too, featuring Humble Roots Cafe & Deli in the Band Stand at noon. Join us as Chef Jesse will be teaching us all about Fiddleheads. There will be samples to taste and recipes to bring home.
The 3rd Annual Mad Hatters Parade and Tea Party will be held in the East Park this weekend! Enjoy Music, Entertainment, High Tea and conversations with each other. Bring your friends, wear your hat (or we will help you make one) - prizes for the best hats! Bring your appetite for a fabulous High Tea provided by The Fairmont Hotel and served under the big Remax tent. Hosted because we want to change the Face of Mental Illness. Please share!
The Kids Korner will have a Jack in the Beanstock short story, colouring, and your very own beanstalk to plant!
We have so many new vendors this year, and what I'm really excited about are our youth vendors. We have 4 youth vendor, 3 of which will be at this market. Come and support these young entreprenuers: Black Bear Pies - with their delicious hand pies, Scrunchies by C with - you got it, scrunchies, and Stella Star Collars who makes pet blankets, collars and bandanas. Be sure to check them out!
Jen Hershman will be entertaining is this week in the Cafe Corner. Grab a bite to eat (we have so many different types of food, I can't just suggest lunch, the treats are bountiful). If you're stuck on having lunch, we have new to the market Mike's Perfect Perogys, also, Amazing Foods and Bannock Queen. Candace has coffee, tea, hot chocolate, lemonade at the General Store and cold fresh water at the info booth.
So much to do this long weekend. Get your shopping done, and enjoy the day!
