This week is Farmer Appreciation Day!  Show our hard working Farmers some love!  Stop by and stock up on fruits and veggies, and meet the people who grow these for you.  Learn where your local food comes from, get educated on agriculture in your neighborhood!  Hug your Farmer!  We have 13 farmers this week, from fruit to veggies, flowers, eggs, seafood and beef.

Kids Korner will be making Thank You cards for our Farmers!  Be sure to bring the kids down to the market this weekend and show our Farmers thanks!

For lunch we have Beaf's BBQ, Betty's Greek Honey Ballz, and Lupita Mexican Foods.  Grab a bite and enjoy the music of Bocephus King in the Cafe Corner.

We will have 54 local vendors at the market this weekend, with crafts, body care, jewellery, spices, baked goods, gelato, and local author Lyle Litzenberger with his book Burke and Widgeon – A History (Volume One) is a long-awaited investigative work that meticulously chronicles the historic beginnings of Northeast Coquitlam’s Burke Mountain and, beyond its slopes, the Widgeon Valley. Gluten free, vegan?  We have something for you, too! Simply Delish Soup and Salad, That Guy's Soup, and Occasionally Honey with their baked good and frozen desserts.

Body aches?  Stop by RMT Igor and have a message!

Our Community Groups this week are:

Golden Ears Transition Initiative (GETI)  a grass-roots volunteer-driven organization in the Maple Ridge / Pitt Meadows area of Metro Vancouver. We work to find local solutions to global problems like peak oil, climate change, environmental degradation, and food security. We work for positive change in our communities and our environment.  Be sure to come to Geti Fest this year, on September 21st, at Memorial Peace park.  Our theme this year is "Solutions" to local, national and global issues.
