We have a super exciting market day for you this Saturday!

Not only do we have the incredible Karen Curtis in our Chef's Demo tent creating tasty tomato recipes, but the super talented Barry Wilson will be performing in the market stage tent!

And that's not all! Have you heard about GETI Fest? It's also happening in Memorial Peace Park this Saturday.

This year's GETI FEST theme is "Solutions" and will showcase groups, organizations, and individuals that are involved in making our community a better place to live, work, and play. They will focus on building a vibrant, resilient and localized community while shining a light on solutions to issues, big and small, whether they are local or global. They will highlight the environment, food security, local economy, social collaboration, and health and wellbeing.

The “Repair Café” (hosted by Ridge Meadows Recycling) will be at the festival again this year. They will be located in the bandstand.

But wait.... that's not all! We'll also be launching the Maple Ridge Ale Trail at our market at 10am!

To celebrate the launch of the Maple Ridge Ale Trail, the 4 breweries collaborated to create a limited run of a commemorative craft beer that is distinctly Maple Ridge - the Alouette Berry Saison. This beer contains two local ingredients that have been longstanding staples in Maple Ridge agriculture, blueberries and cranberries. The Alouette Berry Saison will be tapped for the first time and available for tasting at this launch event for the Ale Trail. be sure to come down, enjoy some entertainment, and most importantly, taste some of the amazing local beer and food we have available to us in Maple Ridge.

They will also have custom commemorative Maple Ridge Ale Trail glass steins and tasting note passports available for purchase. If you pick up a tasting notes passport, you will be eligible to participate in a tasting contest with some great prizes from the participating breweries.

Best. Day. Ever.

See you Saturday!
