Port Coquitlam Farmers Market
Wha't happening this week at the Port Coquitlam Farmers Market!
This week is National Indigenous Peoples Week! We will have a special cooking demo at 4:30pm. Chef Bannock will be demonstrating how to make bannock, salsa and bruschetta! Stop by to watch the demo, taste some yummy samples and take home some recipes! Also check out the beatiful art pieces made by local indigenous artists with Art Focus!
New to the market this week is Bannock Queen, SMC Holistics, Snowy Mountain Organics, and Watershed Watch Salmon Society! Let's give them all a warm welcome to the market!
Come check out something for dinner or just a snack with our concessions, Twisted Creamery, Bannock Queen, Kara's Crepes, Mama’s Fish & Chips and Gary’s Kettlecorn. At the General Store we supply lemonade, water and organic coffee which this year is generously provided by Frog Friendly Wild Coffee.
Rounding out the market Norine Braun is on the performance stage and check out the Kid’s Corner where there is always something fun planned for our younger guests! Be sure to stop by our community group space to visit with local organizations to find out what they do, and how you can get involved. This week stop by and say ‘hi” to Downtown Poco BIA, Port Coquitlam Ambassadors, Port Coquitlam Heritage & Culture Society and The Wilson Seniors Centre.
We are excited to see you!
