Here's what's happening this week at the Port Coquitlam Farmers Market!
This week is Multicultural Fest! We have three special performances this Thursday:
3:30pm: Lively Group Chinese Dancers

5:30pm: The Burnaby Summer Theatre, La Commedia (a comedy based on traditional Renissance Comedy)
Our Chef at the Market this week is Chef Jessica Yue. She will be cooking mushroom and broccoli with portegese sauce at 4:30pm. Sounds delicious! Stop by to watch the demo, taste some yummy samples, and take home a recipe to try!
Our guest vendor this week is Isaac Li. He will selling his artwork and making Chinese characters on request for people to buy, so make sure you check him out!
Be sure to stop by our community group space to visit with local organizations to find out what they do, and how to can get involved. This week stop by and say ‘hi” to Art Focus, Fraser Valley Regional Bicycle library, Pathfinders Youth Centre Society, PoCo Heritage & Cultural Society, Wilson Seniors Centre and S.U.C.C.E.S.S.
Jana Seale entertains on the performance stage all market long. There's always something fun for kids to do in our Kids Korner! Come check out something for dinner or just a snack with our concessions, Bannock Queen, Betty's Greek Honey Ballz, and Gary's Kettlecorn. At the General Store we supply lemonade, water and organic coffee which this year is generously provided by Frog Friendly Wild Coffee.
Something exciting to look forward to is our cooking and gardening book swap next Thursday, August 1st! Bring you books and trade or bring cash and purchase.
