There are probably many things you should be doing more...
Here's what's happening at the Port Coquitlam Farmers Market!
This week's theme is Books and Flowers. There will be a cooking and gardening book swap. Bring a book and get a book! You can also purchase them if you didn't bring a book to swap. The prices are dirt cheap!
Beautiful flowers are also available from several of our produce vendors!
There will be an artisan/craft vendor area in the sculpture plaza!
Barry Wilson entertains on the performance stage all market long. There's always something fun for kids to do in our Kids Korner! This week, they are making paper flowers. Come check out something for dinner or just a snack with our concessions, Bannock Queen, Betty's Greek Honey Ballz, Oh my Gado, Kara's Crepes, and Gary's Kettlecorn. Oh my Gado food truck and Kara's Crepes are new to the market, so make sure you give them a warm welcome! At the General Store we supply lemonade, water and organic coffee which this year is generously provided by Frog Friendly Wild Coffee.
Be sure to stop by our community group space to visit with local organizations to find out what they do, and how to can get involved. This week stop by and say ‘hi” to Canada Furnace, Community Police Station, Downtown Poco BIA, Fraser Valley Regional Library, Port Coquitlam Ambassadors, and Wilson Centre Seniors.
This week's market is sponsored by Canada Furnace of Maple Ridge. Huge thank you to them!
We are excited to see you!
