Port Coquitlam Farmers Market
Here's what's happening this week at the Port Coquitlam Farmers Market!
It's the great zucchini race! Our annual zucchini race takes place from 3:30 - 6:00 pm, so don't miss it out! It's tons of fun for ALL ages!
We are holding a “coffee with the Mayor” near the information booth. Come by and grab a coffee and treat and discuss Port Coquitlam with the Mayor. The Port Coquitlam Mayor Brad West will be at the market this week from 5-6pm.
Chef Jessica Yue will be doing a Chef at the Market demo at 4:30pm! She will be making ratatouille! Stop by for some delicious samples and recipes to take home.
We have a bounty of peaches, cherries, berries and salad greens. Plus farm fresh eggs, cheeses, cider, dog treats, baking and sweet treats, and more!
Be sure to stop by our community group space to visit with local organizations to find out what they do, and how to can get involved. This week stop by and say ‘hi” to Art Focus, Canada Furnace, Downtown Poco BIA, and Wilson Centre Seniors.
Norine Braun entertains on the performance stage all market long. There's always something fun for kids to do in our Kids Korner! This week, they are making paper flowers. Come check out something for dinner or just a snack with our concessions, Betty's Greek Honey Ballz, Mi Casa Mexicana and Gary's Kettlecorn. New to the market this week is Mi Casa Mexicana! Make sure you stop by to grab a taco, and give them a warm welcome! At the General Store we supply lemonade, water and organic coffee which this year is generously provided by Frog Friendly Wild Coffee.
