Port Coquitlam Farmers Market
What’s happening this week at the Port Coquitlam Farmers Market!
It’s Farmer Appreciation Day and what better time to give our local farmers a thank you hug in form of a thank you note. We will set up a Farmer Thank You board next to the Information tent so that if your feeling the desire to let our local farmers know how much they are appreciated for all they do for us all year round here’s an opportunity. Just fill out a card with a note and place it on our Farmer Thank you Board and we will share the thanks with them. Kids will also have a chance to make farmer thank you cards at the Kidz Zone to give out to the vendors.
New to the market this week is KetoSips. Come check out their Keto soups! Also new to our market is Chef Steve Golob. At 4:30 he will be giving a chef demo featuring BBQ Beet Salad. Wow does that sound good.
Come grab a sweet treat from Mom & Me Pies! Black Bear Pies, Gary’s Kettle Corn, Artisan Nutrition or Ca Croustille. Sit down and relax and enjoy dinner with some fish from Mama’s Fish & Chips food truck and listen to our perineal favorite Barry Wilson play a cool blend of tunes on stage to help you enjoy the ending days of Summer. At the General Store we supply lemonade, water, and organic coffee which this year is generously provided by Frog Friendly Wild Coffee.
Come down to do your produce, prepared foods and crafts shopping. Stop by our community vendors, Canadian Royal Purple Society and Translink will be presenting Transport 2050 plans.
All here at Leigh Square beside City Hall, from 3 to 7 p.m.
