What’s happening this week at the Port Coquitlam Farmers Market!
There is excitement in the air….SAVE THE DATE, October 17, 2019 @ 6pm. The Haney Farmers Market Society will be holding a pub night fundraiser at the Cat & Fiddle Pub. Tickets are on sale at the market and online here : https://www.eventbrite.com/e/pcfm-end-of-season-celebration-tickets-73344911605 Event starts at 6:00pm tickets just $20. 1 alcohol beverage plus a burger of your choice is provided. There maybe only 2 markets left to our season but you can still find a great mix of grow it, bake it and make it vendors at PCFM. Have you started to plan for Thanksgiving yet? This week at the market it is our “What’s Cooking for Thanksgiving” week. You can order ahead with some of our vendors for pickup next Thursday. At 4:30 be sure to stop by the Chef Demo tent as Chef STEVE GOLOB will be making his famous Thanksgiving Harvest Soup! Yummm.
In the food court area Chickpea food truck will join us this week along with Bannock Queen. At the General Store we supply lemonade, water, and organic coffee.
Grab a dinner or just grab a snack and sit and enjoy The Tree Huggers performing on the Stage.
We are located at Leigh Square in downtown Port Coquitlam.
Next week is our last market and with that brings our Stone Soup. Stop by then and purchase a delectable soup made from fresh market produce. FYI – The October 10th market will resume its regular hours and will be open until 7pm.
