Hello Squamish Farmers’ Market Subscribers,

The spring weather has got us feeling quite crafty this week… craft beveragey (that’s a word, right?) that is. What better way to spend an early spring day than coming down to the market and checking out both alcoholic and non-alcoholic sippables? This week we’ll have crafters of kombucha, spirits, mead and wine to tantalize your tastebuds! And we’ll have more each week! On Saturday you’ll find the wild-harvested Craftwilder serving up kombucha made from ethically hand-picked ingredients from the forests right here in our backyard. We’ve also got something for your adult taste-buds: Lillooet’s very fine Fort Berens Winery, small-batch craft-distilled spirits from Odd Society and sparkling meads by The Meadb Meadery for all you honey lovers out there.

Speaking of honey – you can also stock up to battle your allergies with some local honey from Goldstrike Honeybee Co. and then boost your immune system with healthy, fresh ingredients from Nutrient Dense Farms and Stony Mountain Farm.

If spring has got you in the mood for cleaning, we recommend checking out POLISH + GROOM. Their cleaning concentrates are made in small batches using quality natural ingredients that effectively clean, disinfect, deodorize and leave your home irresistibly clean. All of their products are free from harmful chemicals, preservatives and additives, infused with blends of essential oils that are totally natural and addictively fragrant.

We’ve also got a special treat for you in the music department. Rio Samaya will be coming out to sweep you off your latin feet for the day! Partners Pancho and Sal’s music beats to the natural pulse of our planet, with a blend of elements of folk, rock, country, reggae, latin and rhumba gypsy rhythms. You don’t want to miss these guys!

See you there!

Lots of love,

The Squamish Farmers’ Market Association
