Squamish Farmers' Market
Good evening market subscribers,
I hope everyone has had a lovely week and is ready for a lovely weekend. This Saturday, as per usual, there is lots going on at the Squamish Farmers Market, and even though the weather may be a little dreary, it could be just the thing to get you outdoors and brighten up your Saturday!
Make sure you don't get to the market too late, or you'll miss out on a very special demo hosted by Moe's Pantry that will be taking place from 11am-12pm: how to make your own jam, in only an hour or less! While the parents watch, craft time for kids will also be taking place right in the tent right beside it, where the market assistant Ashley will be teaching how to make beautiful colourful butterflies, from 11:30-12:30 pm! The market will wrap up with a performance by Matt Blackman from 12-3pm, and the winner of the weekly 50/50 community raffle being drawn at 2 pm (participants must be 19+, and tickets are sold at the market info booth 1 for $2, or 2 for $3).
Of course, though, we mustn't forget the main feature of the market - the vendors! These vendors don't shy from a little rain, and we have many great ones this week bringing us their great products and services! This week we have the return of Beyond Balance massage therapy, and new vendor to our market, Sajiva Kombucha. And of course, a farmers market would be nothing without the farmers! This week we have Laughing Crow Organics, Mandair Farms, Plenty Wild Farms, Rai Produce, Nutrient Dense Farms, Snowy Mountain Organics, Stony Mountain Farm, and Goldstrike Honeybee Co., to give you a great variety of seasonal veggies, fruits, berries, meat, eggs, and honey!
It's all going to be a great time! So don't miss out! We can't wait to see you there, from 10am-3pm!
