July 14th at the Squamish Farmers' Market
Hey Market Subscribers!
I hope you're all excited to attend the Squamish Farmers Market tomorrow, because it's sure going to be a great, sunny, and lively day! The weather reporters have forecasted us a cloudless sky and a glorious 31 degrees all weekend! The market itself is going to be full and busy as we'll have 50 vendors, offering an assortment of all kinds of locally-sourced and hand-crafted goodies! In addition to many of your favorite weekly vendors, Valley Buds Flower Farm and North Shore Candy Company are this week's noteworthy newbies, and you also can't miss out on GoldenCrust Bakery, Hare's Farm (Pemberton Organics Blueberries!), and Roasters' Hot Sauce, who are all making their return debut to the market!
The Squamish Farmers Market also has a great variety of 5 hot food vendors this week where you can pick up your lunch! And check out excellent craftsmaship at Manishi's Journals and Melonhead Knitwear, or paintings by Lan Yao and Andy Anissimoff. While you are enjoying all the sights, sounds, and smells of the market, take a rest at our covered seating area and enjoy the tunes of Paul Coulter-Brown, who will be performing from 11am-2pm. Meanwhile, your kids can also take a fun break making a cool recycled craft with the market assistant, Ashley, at the zero waste booth from 11:30am-12:30am!
There is always so much to do at the Squamish Farmers Market! It is a weekly event for the whole family that can't be missed. But remember, don't forget to bring a hat, sunscreen, and lots of water in a reusable bottle (you can find refills at the zero-waste water station at the market info booth).
We can't wait to see you all there!
