July 28th at the Squamish Farmers' Market
Hey there, Squamish Farmers Market goers!
This Saturday is going to be a hot one, so don’t forget to wear your hats and put on sunscreen for the bright and sunny (32 degree) weather we’re in store for! While you may already be wiping your brow, the Squamish Farmers Market is the perfect oasis for these summer Saturdays, and in addition to great vendors, don’t miss the fun events we have lined up:
11:00-12:00 pm - Our Chef at the Market demo this week will be hosted by Kelly Ann Woods from Gillespies Fine Spirits, where she’ll share her expertise on refreshing cocktails and mocktails, with tasty ingredients right from our market!
12:30-2:30 - This week’s kids craft is hosted by our awesome market volunteer, Montana, and will be held at beside the musicians’ booth. She’ll teach us how to make hand fans to keep you cool!
12:00-3:00 pm - Monty Biggins is our musician of the week.
Also don’t miss out on our weekly 50/50 draw (participants must be 19+) a fun free game at the zero-waste education station (This week the booth will be located beside Sargent Poppers Kettle Corn who you can get a treat from after talking to the market assistant, Ashley)
There’s so much happening at the market this week! But don’t forget to check out the best part - the vendors, who we have over 40 of this Saturday! Lilise is back with her delicious apple butters, BobAli with their yummy hummus, pestos, and tapenades, and Janet from PRESERVED would love you to stop by for a sample of her unforgettable lemon curd and preserves!
We’ll also have some fun neighbours this Saturday! Squamish’s annual Wind Festival will be taking place next door in Pavilion Park!
Hope you’re as excited for tomorrow's busy market as we are! See you there!
