Squamish Farmers' Market
Hey there Market Subscribers!
I don't want to speak too soon... but this gorgeous weather just won't let up! What a perfect way to wrap up our last couple summer farmers' markets! That's right, we're still going, with 2 outdoor markets left this October, before we move indoors at the Adventure Centre for the Winter Market on November 3rd!
This Saturday is going to be a busy day for all of us. We still have lots of variety in our vendors, and lots of farmers with scrumptious fall produce! The warm weather may also have you hankering for a cold treat, and this is your chance to get your very last snowcone of the year from Frostbites! Or, get a hot lemon-ginger tea from Trintiy's Teas. Come check our new vendors as well! Alpaca Market makes hand-sewn festive Halloween costumes and Christmas decorations, as well as offers masssage services! Welcome K & J Pacific Peaches to Squamish, as they will be bringing 9 varieties of apples from their orchard in Kelowna! We also have our Chef at the Market summer finale taking place from 2-3pm. Alyssa Belter from Plenty Wild Farms will be teaching us how to cook with and store fall veggies such as celeriac and winter squash! Yum! After exploring the sights, smells, tastes, and sweet sounds of our musician of the week, Pernell Reichart, take a meander across the street to Stan Clarke Park, where the BIA will be putting on their fun Pumpkin Patch in the Park event. Last but not least, don't forget to cast your votes for your favourite candidates at Brennan Park for the Squamish municipal election!
It's going to be a very fun and sunny Saturday, and all of us at the Squamish Farmers' Market are so excited to see you there!
