Newsletter for Oct 27th at the Squamish Farmers' Market
Here we are, preparing for the last summer market of the year! What a fantastic season it's been!
And we've got lots of great things lined up for tomorrow! We still have a great variety of farm-fresh goods, such great fall produce from our 3 veggie farmers, lots of apples and pears from our 2 fruit farmers, eggs, honey, sausage, and a very special treat few of us thought possible... Mandair Farms will be back, with strawberries!!! We also have jewelry from Headpins, polish soups from Tasty & Nourishing, a bit of bubbly from Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse, and loads of scrumptious baked goods from Whipped & Beaten!!! Our musician of the week is Matt Blackman, who will be putting on a memorable show for our summer finale. Although there is a chance of rain tomorrow, we know that nothing can keep the great citizens of Squamish from coming to say goodbye until next year to the amazing vendors who put on such a fun Saturday market for us all summer!
Didn't get enough of the summer market? No worries, because the winter market is starting up right away NEXT SATURDAY at the Adventure Centre! It will be running every Saturday from Nov 3rd until Dec 22nd, 10am-2pm.
Need more to do after the market? Squamish Helping Hands is holding their fundraising dinner Crave, and events for the whole family will be taking place such as the Pumpkin Patch at the Westcoast Railway Heritage Park, or the Trick or Treating event at the Sea to Sky Gondola!
We can't wait to see you tomorrow! With all the delightful, fresh, and local talents, tastes, tunes, not to mention the sights, smells, and smiles, it's going to be so much funnn!
