There are probably many things you should be doing more...
Happy December market subscribers!
Come tomorrow morning, the last and merriest month of the year will be upon! And as we all know, there is no better place to start off your holiday season than with a trip to our jolly Squamish Farmers' Market! We have 25 vendors who’ve been waiting all week to see you! Come and get your fortune read by tarot card reader, Lee Allan Purcell, try a secialty applesauce that goes with just about everything from Lilise's Fuit Butters, and get a fun warm toque and mit set from Time to Be a Unicorn!
This first day of December is going to be a truly fabulous one, and we'll even get to spend it in some gorgeous sunshine! In addition to the market, there’s so many other things to do around town! After the market wraps up at 2pm, take a stroll downtown to Cleveland Ave and watch the Santa Parade at 4pm. If you have any energy left after that, maybe you'd also like to check out a live theatre performace of "A Christmas Story" at the Eagle Eye Theatre, a production by Between Shifts Theatre starting at 7:30pm. The Downtown Squamish's first ever "21 Days of Christmas" event also begins this Saturday! The Squamish Farmers' Market will be participating as the location of the prize draw on Dec 22nd, as well as will be entering a bonus "22nd day" stocking. That means, shop at the market on December 22nd, and get entered to win a funky homemade stocking full of market goodies!
If you're thinking of getting a headstart on getting your Christmas shopping done tomorrow, you've already remembered that this is the season of giving, so perhaps you'd also like to make a donation to those who could use a little extra support this Christmas. Bring with you to the market on Dec 1st, Dec 8th, or Dec 15th a new toy, non-perishable food, or monetary donation to put into our Christmas Hamper. Donations will be collected and distributed by Squamish Community Christmas Care. Someone will really appreciate you doing so!
We are so excited for December to begin, and we are so excited to see YOU, tomorrow, at the Squamish Farmers' Market from 10am-2pm.
