Hello Market Lovers!

Being that we are into the heart of summer, aka BBQ season, we thought we would celebrate by bringing back a market favourite for you this weekend. It's a late start for them this year, but we are thrilled to be welcoming back 108 Sausage Co. back to the market line-up! 108 offers a wide variety of free ranged, antibiotic-free pork products, from a limited assortment of frozen cuts to fresh and frozen sausages, smoked, ready-to-eat sausages and dry-cured sugar-free bacon. All products are made in small batches, contain no fillers or bi-products, with no MSG, no lactose, no refined sugars and everything is gluten free.

What's a BBQ without farm-fresh produce? You'll find the season's best veggies at Plenty Wild, Laughing Crow Organics and Nutrient Dense; divine fruits from Hare's Organic Blueberry Farm, Mandair Farm, Rai Produce and Snowy Mountain Organics; and tremendously tasty eggs and pork shares from Stony Mountain Farm.

To complete your BBQ you will of course need delicious adult beverages, plenty of which you can find at market this weekend. Look for BC wines, ciders and even mead. For those searching for non-alcoholic sippables we'll be hosting kombucha and aguas frescas vendors to boot!

For your family-friendly entertainment this weekend our kids tent will of course be in full swing. Drop your little off while you shop on market grounds or stick around for some fun while we make yarn octopuses. Our musical entertainment will be provided by the very talented Connor Gray. Connor is a teacher at the Squamish Academy of Music and has been playing music for as long as he can remember. He is most passionate about composing and improvising, as well as teaching and sharing music with others. Conner covers a wide variety of genres, but for the market he will be offering a mixture of jazz, funk, ambient, upbeat vibes, finger style. If you have never had the pleasure of watching a “looper”, you'll want to make sure you get a front-row seat for this show. For those of you unfamiliar with the term, "looping" is where the musician records themself live, plays something over that, records that live, improvises, adds drums and makes magic. It will be a real treat!

We'll see you there!
