Hello Market Lovers,

It's that time of the week again! Market day is upon us and we have a great day planned for you. It's going to be a busy one downtown, so be sure to get down to market early to get your pick of artisan goods.

As always we are rockin' a fabulous farm team this weekend. Your oh so fresh and delicious vegetables will be provided by Laughing Crow Organics, Nutrient Dense Farms and Plenty Wild Farms. Sweet, succulent fruits can be found at the stands of Rai Produce, Snowy Montain Organics, Hare's Organic Blueberry Farm and Mandair Farms. Eggs and meat will be provided by none other than the awesome Stony Mountain Farm.

With the festivites happening around town and so much chrome on the streets (more on that in a few), we thought we would tell you about an artisinally approriate and very talented vendor this week: Whistler Metal Works. They are a full-service artistic welding, fabrication and problem-solving company, focusing on high-quality metal design, innovations and art-installations. These guys are masters at creating eye-catching works of art - in fact, you can see an example of their work by visiting our market tent's brochure rack (and their booth of course). You'll be hard-pressed to leave that booth without a one-of-a-kind piece of art in hand!

While you peruse the market talent, you will be listening to the musical genius of Mr. Monty Biggins! This guy is a market favourite and highly requested by patrons and vendors alike. A composer, entertainer, producer and recording artist from the West Coast of Canada, it has been said that Monty Biggins is an embodiment of music. He is a passionate recording artist and dedicated entertainer that you won't want to miss. You can find Monty right next to the crowd on the dance floor from 12-3!

We haven't forgotten about the littles! This week we will be painting and planting little seedling pots, happening in the kids tent all day! Drop your small people off and enjoy the market or come join us for crafting fun.

Once you've had your market fill, head on out to the street for the Squamish Motorcycle Festival happening from 9 am to 8 pm. There will be test rides, stunts, bike show, food and live music with all proceeds going directly into the Squamish Food Bank.

It's going to be an awesome day, we'll see you there!
