Join us for the Cannery Farmers' Market this Sunday, November 29th, from 10am to 3pm at the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site in Steveston. Make a full day of your visit to our historic fishing village -- the Steveston Merchants Association will be offering horse-drawn carriage tours (by donation to the Richmond Christmas Fund) around the village from 1 to 5pm.

This Sunday is also the start of Steveston's Fifth Annual Festival of Trees, presented in partnership with the Steveston Merchants Association. Be sure to take the time to enjoy the beautifully decorated holiday trees throughout the historic cannery. You can vote for your favourite with a canned food donation to the Richmond Food Bank

The market is also very pleased to present a home canning demonstration by Darlene Tanaka of Bermardin Canning, from 1 to 1:30pm.

Find inspiration for your holiday feasts and gifts at the market -- bring your friends and family to enjoy the festivities. As always, the Cannery offers free admission on market days.

And don't forget to take the time to explore the heritage site, or take a guided tour (by donation) to learn more about the history of the cannery and the community of Steveston.

See the links below for our market vendors; looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday!
